Aptly named rapids Germans Drop, Mother-in-Law, Pinball and Cascade are interspersed throughout the exhilarating 18km trip, which culminates in a spectacular ride through the Oxenbridge Tunnel a 170metre chute that is a legacy of the pioneering gold miners. Although suitable for most levels of experience, confidence in water is an advantage. WHAT YOU NEED: Swimsuit and towel
